THE CHEF

Chef Ito, born in Fukushima, Japan, begin his culinary career in his native country.  He begins as an apprentice at the Verbie Hotel, located in Fukushima Japan.  At this award winning, high end, Auberge style hotel, he specialized in Japanese and French cuisines.

 

Later, his skills and talent awarded him an opportunity to work as the head chef to the Embassador of Japan in Germany.  At the Embassy of Japan in Berlin, Germany, he prepares and cooks for the most high-profile dignitaries.

 

In 2002, Chef Ito comes to the United States to work at the Consulate of Japan.  He works as the head chef in Atlanta, New Orleans, followed by Chicago.  During his days in the United States, he not only cooked for dignitaries, but also for famous celebrities representing Japan and the United States.

 

In 2011, Chef Ito was awarded a Foreign Minister’s Commendations by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
